PROOF90

How Proof90 verifies your workouts

Most fitness apps take your word for it. You tick a box and the app says "well done". Proof90 only calls something verified when your phone actually measured it, and it says so plainly when it couldn't.

Three kinds of "done"

Verified: the phone measured it

On your word: you did it, the phone couldn't confirm it

If the camera or sensors can't confirm a task (bad light, phone in a locker) you can still log it. It is recorded as on your word, and it never looks the same as a verified task, in your log, on your streak or on your calendar.

Honor system: things nobody can measure

Food rules, sleep, a cold shower. These are labelled honor-system every single time, with the reason: we can't prove this one.

Streaks you can't rewrite

Questions

How accurate is the camera counter?

It is good, not perfect, and we don't claim otherwise. It checks that you're in frame, learns your range from your first reps, and counts only full movements. When it can't follow you, it tells you and offers to log the set on your word.

Can I cheat?

You can always tap "on your word". What you can't do is make that look like a verified set. The app separates the two on every screen.

Why not just let me tick a box?

Because a streak made of ticks measures how willing you are to tap. Proof90 is built so a streak means you did the work.

Where do I start?
